Three men were arrested in a Sunday traffic stop, officers report of the Bellefontaine Police Department.
Roger E. Corral, 34, of 429 Walker St., was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and cited for an improper turn, failure to signal and expired license plates.
Passengers Aron M. Vanover, 37, of 555 Newell St., Apt. 40, was charged with public intoxication, while Josh A. Dickinson, 34, of 2281⁄2 E. Chillicothe Ave., was lodged in jail on a failure to appear warrant.
Around 2:50 a.m., officers stopped Corral after a records check showed the license plates were expired. Corral was visibly intoxicated and nearly fell down during sobriety tests.
Vanover was agitated, confrontational and intoxicated, according to police. They asked him if there was anyone who could come and take him home. He said there was not so officer arrested for his safety.
At the Logan County Jail, Corral provided a breathalyzer sample of 0.175.
