Wednesday, the Bellefontaine Finance and Development Authority approved a new economic development agreement with Thomas & Marker Construction Co., the second such agreement in less than six months.

Financial incentives of a capital lease arrangement with the port authority and expansion of Bellefontaine’s Community Reinvestment Act program helped spur construction of the new 72,300-square-foot facility at the new industrial park at 1400 W. Sandusky Ave.
Thomas & Marker completed the first 72,000 square-foot distribution center in less than 90 days and NEX Transport is now operating from this facility.
