Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department are investigating a reported theft from Oasis Drive-Thru, 406 S. Main St.
Business manager Amy Crawford told police about 11:20 p.m. Thursday that a a review of the books revealed suspected manipulation of business sales records and missing money, according to a report.
• Travis McCoy, 28 of Cridersville, contacted police by telephone around 10:45 p.m. Thursday to report missing tools. He’s a subcontractor for Spectrum cable and accidentally left behind assorted tools including pliers, wire cutters and specialty cable tools valued at about $400 following a Sept. 13 service call at 608 Oakwood Drive.
Residents there declined having seen the tools. Police will follow up with pawn shops in case the tools were taken and pawned.
• Aaron Feasel, 26, of 501 Gunntown Road, Apt. 13, reported his unsecured bicycle was taken from outside his residence sometime between 9:30 p.m. Thursday and 3 a.m. Friday.
It was described as a black and yellow men’s mountain bike, with a tire size of at least 24 inches.
