Aiden T. Navarro, 17, of 166 Miami Ave., was charged Thursday with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, violating curfew and underage consumption of alcohol. He also was cited for driving without headlights.
A passenger, Stacey S. Farrell, 20, of 540 W. Chillicothe Ave., was charged with underage consumption of alcohol.
Around 11:55 p.m., an officer of the Bellefontaine Police Department was on patrol and observed the motorist northbound on Main Street at Palmer Avenue. The vehicle’s lights were not on and the left rear tire was flat.
Officers noted an odor of alcohol while talking with the two.
Aiden provided a breathalyzer sample of 0.05, twice the limit for juveniles.
• Donald E. Hicks Jr., 15, of 533 W. Auburn Ave., Apt. 3, was charged Friday with delinquency assault and aggravated menacing.
He reportedly assaulted a middle school student at a bus stop in the morning. He claimed the 12-year-old had been harassing him for days.
The teen also allegedly threatened to get a gun .
He was lodged in the Logan County Juvenile Detention Center.
• Amir H. Water, 14, of 804 W. Patterson Ave., was charged Friday with delinquency theft after he tried to leave Community Markets, 309 N. Main St., with candy and cookies around 7:15 a.m.
