The last of a group of teens involved with December automobile thefts in Lakeview was placed on community control among cases this week in Logan County Common Pleas Court.
Mason Diener, 18, of Bellefontaine, was sentenced to five years’ community control and was ordered to pay court costs, attorney fees and restitution for grand theft of a motor vehicle and two counts of theft.
He and Danny Ellis Jr., 19, of Lakeview, and Brandon Davis, who was 17 and was charged as a juvenile, were arrested in connection with a Dec. 2 report of the theft of three vehicles and break-ins to other vehicles within the village of Lakeview.
Mr. Ellis is serving a prison sentence for his involvement in the thefts.
• Kami Irwin, 35, of Bellefontaine, was sentenced to six months in the Ohio Reformatory for Women for trafficking in drugs.
• Todd Dickinson, 26, of Bellefontaine, was sentenced to 60 days in the Logan County Jail, five years of community control, the probation incentive program and ordered to pay court costs and attorney fees for trafficking in drugs.
• Amber Hoy, 25, of Russells Point, was sentenced to five years of community control which was suspended until she completes her current prison term from Hardin County for trafficking in drugs.
• Kristopher Mathews, 36, of Bellefontaine, was sentenced to 30 days in the Logan County Jail, three years of community control and was ordered to pay court costs, attorney fees and restitution for misuse of a credit card.
• Shannon Fruchey, 32, of Belle Center, pleaded guilty to three counts of possession of heroin and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia. She was granted intervention in lieu of conviction and must complete three years of community control and substance abuse counseling.
