Four people were arrested Friday as part of a Logan County Joint Drug Task Force investigation.

John M. Reid, 29, of 501 Gunntown Road, Lot 92, was charged with possession of crack cocaine and served a warrant for failure to appear.
Raymond R. Washington, 36, at large, was served a warrant for contempt of court on a drug trafficking charge. It is believed he transports the drugs into the area to sell.
Brittany N. Smucker, 21, of 501 Gunntown Road, Lot 92, was charged with permitting drug trafficking.
Betty J. Dolan, 21, at large, was charged with possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Around 3 p.m., the task force with help from officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department arrested Reid in the driveway of his residence. Detectives recovered crack cocaine and $538.
The other three were at the residence. A search warrant was served and investigators found crack cocaine inside along with evidence consistent with drug trafficking, including surveillance cameras inside and out; a police scanner and materials commonly used to package crack cocaine.
All four were lodged in the Logan County Jail.
Motorist charged with endangering, OVI
Ryan M. Lillard, 37, of 221 Ludlow Road, Bellefontaine, was charged Saturday with endangering children and operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and was cited for having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, a marked lanes violation and a stop sign violation.
Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department were alerted around 11:15 p.m. of an intoxicated motorist leaving Taco Bell, 2079 S. Main St. Lillard’s pickup truck was spotted on Superior Avenue near Erie Street.
He was driving on the wrong side of the road and an officer followed, observing multiple violations of the motorist going left of center and nearly hitting parked vehicles within a short time before he could initiate a stop on Washington Avenue.
Upon contact with the driver, the officer detected an odor of alcohol and noticed his nine-year-old son was in the rear seat.
The motorist’s speech was slurred and he had difficulty maintaining his balance when he exited the vehicle.
Field sobriety tests indicated he was impaired and he was taken into custody. He refused to provide a breathalyzer sample.
A 12-ounce can of beer was found inside the pickup. His son was released to grandparents.
