Kurt Holcomb, 38, of Kenton, was charged with possession of drugs related to a traffic stop late Monday evening in Russells Point.
Officers of the Russells Point Police Department reportedly stopped his vehicle for multiple equipment violations about 11:55 p.m. The vehicle was missing a headlight and had only one working brake light.
The driver, Holcomb, was visibly nervous, and told officers it was because he knew his license was suspended.
Despite his admission, his behavior prompted officers to investigate further and a small plastic bag with suspected methamphetamine was found in his pocket. Marijuana and other drug related paraphernalia were found on him and in his vehicle.
Holcomb was placed under arrest and transported to Logan County Jail. Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office also assisted at the scene.
