Stephen W. Bell, 67, of Ridgeway, died at 9:51 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Kenton.
He was born July 3, 1949, in Kenton to the late Francis H. and Mary Louis Gardner Bell. On Feb. 14, 1970, he married Donna Shroyer and she survives in Ridgeway.
Also surviving are two daughters, Marcia (David) Kirian of Harrod and Amanda (Michael) Holland of Kenton; two brothers, David (Sandy) Bell of Bellefontaine and Kevin (Cathy) Bell of Zanesfield; a brother-in-law, Lewis Hanna of Kenton; a sister-in-law, Rosalie Elliott of Mt. Victory; a grandson, Michael Kirian; a granddaughter, Addison Holland; a great-grandson, Carter Kirian; a great-granddaughter, Ryleigh Kirian; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Hanna, and a brother-in-law, Ed Elliott.
Stephen retired from Transportation Research Center and was a member of the Belle Center Church of Christ.
He was extremely passionate about anything John Deere. He collected anything that had John Deere on it, especially the model tractors.
Stephen enjoyed traveling and watching his grandchildren play sports. He was a family man, and was happiest when he was with them.
Calling is from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 24, at Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Mt. Victory, where funeral services begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 25. Burial with military rites follows in Hale Cemetery.
