A convicted murderer has hit the end of her appeals after the Ohio Supreme Court refused to hear her arguments that her trial lawyers failed to protect her rights against self-incrimination.
Rosalie Kennedy, who was found guilty on Nov. 11, 2017, of shooting and killing her 66-year-old husband, Gary, in their 8100 Township Road 110, Rushsylvania, home eight months earlier.
Kennedy, 64, is serving a life sentence with the possibility of parole after 18 years.
Cleveland attorney John P. Parker argued in briefs to the court that defense attorneys Tina McFall failed to suppress Kennedy’s statement to Logan County Sheriff’s Detective Sgt. Tom Watson, the defendant’s videotaped statement and in-cruiser recording from admission as evidence.
