Other than a few minor details, such as planting, seeding and beautifying the area, the Indian Lake spillway replacement project is now complete.

Crews with the Columbus-based C.J. Mahan Construction Company and Storm Trucking wrapped up their work at the site along State Route 366 east of Russells Point, removing the final portion of a temporary causeway on Monday.
Indian Lake State Park Manager George Sholtis said he was very pleased with the quality and timeliness of the work.
“We are happy to see the project completed,” the park manager said. “Everything has gone smoothly and other than a few unexpected weather delays, everything went according to schedule.”
“The project is substantially complete,” Ohio Department of Natural Resources spokesman John Wisse said. “we still have some seeding, mulching and signage to complete. We’re still crossing the Ts and dotting the Is, but to the lay person it is done.”
Memorial Day weekend traditionally marks the start to the Indian Lake recreation season and fishers will have full access to the area, the ODNR officials said.
