Mr. Rosebrook and his brother, Carl “Jeff” Rosebrook, 57, of East Liberty, await trial on murder and kidnapping charges along with conspiracy to commit aggravated murder.
Joe Rosebrook’s trial is set for July 18, while Carl Rosebrook will go to trial Aug. 15.
Mindie Mock Stanifer, 37, was Mr. South’s girlfriend at the time of the murder and drove him to the home. She has pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter, kidnapping and two counts of obstructing justice.
She will be sentenced Tuesday.
Alva Jacobs, 35, of Alabama, also was in the car on the morning of the murder. He has been charged with obstruction of justice, and according to recent court filings, he intends to resolve his case Tuesday.
