The fifth class of the Bellefontaine Parks & Recreation Bellefontaine Softball Walk of Fame was inducted Saturday evening at a ceremony at the Logan County Friendly Senior Center.

The names of Bob Aulls, Dave Eley, Mick Lile, Curt Roach, Greg St. Clair, Doug Wilcox, Dick Horn and the late Dick Baier are enscribed on pavers that will be placed between fields 1 and 2 at Southview Park.
They join the names of Willard Zook, Denny Lane, Jim Ansley Sr., Dick Artis, Ed Hildreth, Tony Stafford, Tony Inskeep, Larry Inskeep, Mike Doty, Larry Hittepole, Ron Boling, Steve Tennant, Dan Furlong, Don Cooper, Steve Skidmore, Gary Cook, Dave Ruhe, Mike Orders, Larry Friedel, John Freese, Fred Penrod, Ron Helmlinger, Jim Schrock, Howard Lambert, Dick Cook, Terry Inskeep, Larry Peterson, Scott Stewart and Jeff Purdin, representing players previously inducted.
Mark Dearwester spearheaded the ceremony and announced next year’s event also would be set on the Saturday that the Ohio State Buckeyes football team has a bye.
