Six defendants pleaded no contest or guilty during recent appearances before Logan County Common Pleas Judge Mark S. O’Connor.
Eric Johnson, 35, of Lima, pleaded guilty to possession of drugs. He was granted intervention in lieu of conviction and must complete substance abuse counseling and one year of community control.
John Porter, 46, of Bellefontaine, entered a no contest plea and was found guilty of theft from the elderly.
Other guilty pleas were made by:
• Bradley Couch, 37, of Bellefontaine: trafficking in drugs;
• Danny Ellis Jr., 19, of Lakeview: three counts of theft of a motor vehicle;
• Ashley Shaffner, 24, of Urbana: illegal conveyance of drugs onto the grounds of a detention facility; and
• Floyd Stevens, 43, of Kenton: theft from the elderly.
Ms. Shaffner and Mr. Stevens will be sentenced June 20; Mr. Porter and Mr. Couch, June 27; and Mr. Ellis, July 11.
