SIDNEY — Officers of the Sidney Police Department are searching for a suspect who committed an armed robbery Thursday at CVS Pharmacy.
Officers responded to a 911 call about 5:35 p.m. reporting an armed robbery. The suspect walked into the store and went directly to the pharmacy area, officers said.
The suspect was in the store for several minutes before he handed one of the store employees a note demanding narcotics. No weapon was displayed, but the suspect stated he was armed.
He left the store on foot in an unknown direction with an undetermined amount of narcotics.
The suspect is described as a clean cut, dark skinned black male in his early to mid 20’s, about 5 foot 10 inches tall, thin build with no facial hair. He was wearing a white ball hat with a dark Adidas logo on the front, a white T-shirt with black writing, a dark colored zip up hoodie and dark basketball type shorts, officers report.
