The whimsical and humorous tale of the ogre Shrek and his dealings with fairy tale creatures who have overrun his swamp is presented by West Liberty-Salem High School during productions that take place this weekend.
Shrek: The Musical is presented at 7 p.m. Friday, March 19, and 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, March 20.
The production is directed by Brice Henry and Renee Arnold, with choreography by Maverick Aldo.
Due to a restricted number of in-person ticket sales with COVID-19 precautions, a livestream option available for the community through a company called “Showtix4u,” with an unlimited number of tickets available through that option.
For those purchasing the streaming option, it is not available through the school website “Livestream” option, but through the Showtix4u website. The video will be the recorded version during dress rehearsal week.
