MARYSVILLE — U.S. Sen. Rob Portman, R-Ohio, concluded a tour of automotive manufacturing with a Friday visit to the Honda of America Manufacturing Plant in Marysville, where he discussed tax reform, trade and other issues.

Honda, which recently completed a $200 million improvement project at the facility and is adding 300 jobs, was the final stop on the senator’s 700-mile, three-day tour of Ohio auto plants, according to a statement from the senator’s office.
Portman was also promoting the Unified Framework for Fixing Our Broken Tax Code plan — a tax reform package developed jointly by the Trump administration, the the House Committee on Ways and Means and the Senate Committee on Finance.
While at the Marysville Auto Plant, the senator observed Accord production and met with Honda leadership and employees.
