Ruth Ann Nicholl, 85, of West Liberty, passed away Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018, at Mary Rutan Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
She was born June 13, 1933, in Bellefontaine, a daughter of the late Ray and Cleo Hoge Norton, one of 14 children.
She was preceded in death by her siblings Phil, Lester, Chester, Ray Jr., Betty and Sharon. She was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Joseph Foreman; and the father of her children, Ronald K.A. Nicholl.
Ruth was a loving homemaker, babysitter and a member of the Bellefontaine Church of God. She will be missed by many.
Survivors include her siblings, Larry, Ralph, Joan, Carolyn, Bill, Bob and Jean; her five children, Jim (Cheryl) Nicholl, Jane Foreman, Beverly (Tony) Willis, Dianna (Don) Small and Bill (Tammy) Nicholl; grandchildren, Kris Nicholl, Katrina (Bill) Low, Michelle (Josh) Miller, Jason (Katie) Foreman, Amanda (Don) Hura, Bethany Small, Cara Small, Zachariah Small, Staff Sgt. Johnathan (Dani) Willis, Sgt. Michael (Aileen) Willis, Katie (Joel) Krabill, Jacob (Savanah) Willis, Patrick Willis, Noah (Amanda) Nicholl and Nathan Nicholl; 19 great-grandchildren with another one due in April 2019; one great-great grandchild, with another one due in May 2019; and several nieces and nephews.
Pastor Gary Brown officiates a funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home & Crematory, 5591 S. U.S. Route 68, West Liberty, where calling is from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, and one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to any child care facility of the donor’s choice.
