Ronald Eugene Leiberick, 75, of DeGraff, passed away Monday afternoon, July 25, 2016, at Mary Rutan Hospital Emergency Department, Bellefontaine.
He was born Feb. 18, 1941, in Peru, Ind., to the late Theodore Roosevelt and Violet Rose Donavin Leiberick. He also was preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Pitts; and a brother, James Leiberick.
On May 2, 1959, he married the former Connie Lee Richwine in Quincy and she survives, along with a daughter, Kimberly Lynn (Tom) Taylor of DeGraff; two grandchildren, Dylan and Ethan Taylor; and nine nieces and nephews.
Ronald was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Vietnam. He worked for Frantz Brothers in Sidney, then later at DAB Industries in Bellefontaine, where he retired. He was a life member of VFW Post 1080 in Bellefontaine, and was a member of the 46th Engineers. He enjoyed fishing, camping and sightseeing.
A memorial cookout is at 5 p.m. Saturday, July 30, at Indian Trails Resort, 13793 N. State Route 235, Lakeview.
Burial is in Fairview Cemetery, Quincy, at a later date.
