Riverside Schools/Ohio Hi-Point Career Center FFA members Shelby Nicholl and Raven Shoffner received their state FFA degrees at the Ohio FFA Convention May 2 and 3.
The state degree is the highest award given out by the state FFA Association and is presented to the top 3 percent of the 25,000 FFA students in Ohio.
Also at the state convention, gold officer awards were presented to Raven Shoffner for his treasurer’s book, Shelby Nicholl for her secretary’s book, and Megan Richardson for her reporter’s book.
Fellow Riverside FFA members attending the convention also had the chance to tour the OSU Veterinary Hospital.
