Riverside Schools Board of Education members extended a three-year contract to a new treasurer during a special meeting conducted this morning.
Ronnie L. Fitchpatrick II of Sidney was hired for the position, effective Jan. 9, Superintendent Scott Mann said this morning. His salary was set at $70,000 per year.
He replaces current treasurer Lucas Ratliff, whose resignation was accepted by the board at their regular Tuesday evening meeting. The board also conducted interviews with three treasurer candidates during an executive session Tuesday.
