Ridgemont High School is making preparations for commencement exercises for the Class of 2021, with the ceremony taking place outdoors at the Ridgemont football field in Ridgeway at 7 p.m. Friday, June 4.
Featured speakers for the evening will include class valedictorian Abigail Hawk and class salutatorian Gracie Moore.
Abigail is a daughter of Kimberly Hawk, Jimmy Shiling and James Hawk. She will attend the University of Findlay, majoring in diagnostic medical sonography and plans to pursue a career in pediatric sonography.
Her activities include cheering and coaching for Ohio Cheer Nation, Ridgemont National Honor Society, Auglaize Ag 4-H group and volunteering.
A daughter of Joe and Tasia Moore, Grace will attend Central Michigan University to major in music education and plans to pursue a career as a music educator.
Gracie’s activities include Company R, Ridgemont National Honor Society, Ridgemont Musical, FFA, choir and cheerleading.
