Bellefontaine High School Class of 2017 graduates Monica Chriscoe, Wyatt Skidmore, Dylan Christman, Griffin Mason and Nick Kurtz competed this week in the Ohio State Envirothon competition at Ohio Christian University in Circleville, and received 16th place out of 20 teams at the event.
To qualify for the state competition, the team competed in the Area IV competition April 25 at the Fernald Nature Preserve in Hamilton County, involving 84 teams from Southwest and West Central Ohio. The BHS representatives finished in sixth place, one point away from the fourth-place team.
