Benjamin Logan’s boys basketball team went toe-to-toe with visiting Northwestern Friday, but tumbled down the stretch as the Warriors pulled away in the second half for a 56-46 Central Buckeye Conference Mad River division victory.

The Warriors are now 8-2 overall and stay atop the Mad River division standings at 4-0. The Raiders slide to 5-5 overall and 1-3 in the CBC.
Northwestern held a 10-8 edge after one quarter and a 27-25 lead at halftime.
The Warriors opened up some breathing room in the third quarter, outscoring the Raiders 13-7 to build a 40-32 advantage.
Northwestern held off Ben Logan 16-14 in the final period to secure the win.
