After competing with boys on the wrestling team for the past four seasons, Taylor Hites will be in her element during her collegiate career.
The Benjamin Logan senior recently signed with the newly formed Tiffin University women’s wrestling team. This winter will be the Dragons’ first season.
“Taylor will excel at the women’s level,” said Ben Logan head coach Kyle Seeley.
“She is a hard worker and doesn’t back down from any challenge. We are excited to see her excel at Tiffin and make Benjamin Logan proud.”
While the women’s wrestling team was an exciting incentive to attend Tiffin, the main reason Hites chose the university was for her academics.
“I chose Tiffin because I really liked their program for exercise science,” said Hites. “Also, they are a smaller school and it reminds me of Ben Logan. Tiffin will be the first college in Ohio to have women’s wrestling next season, which is also something I look forward to being apart of at Tiffin.”
“Tiffin is a great fit for Taylor,” said Seeley. “She was really impressed with their academics. She was impressed with their exercise science program and the size of the school.
