Benjamin Logan’s baseball team dropped visiting Urbana 5-2 on Wednesday to split the series in Central Buckeye Conference Mad River division action. The Hillclimbers had beaten the Raiders 7-2 on Tuesday.
The Raiders are now 13-9 overall and 8-7 in the Mad River division as the Hillclimbers slip to 8-14, 3-11.
Each team got its offense going early as Urbana scored two runs in the bottom of the first inning. Ben Logan answered with four runs in the bottom of the first to take a 4-2 advantage.
The Raiders tacked on another run in the fourth inning for a 5-2 score.
Josh Whitten went 2-3 with an RBI to lead the Raiders’ hitting attack. Konner Caudill and Jacob Powell each had two RBI.
