Benjamin Logan Schools is inviting individuals involved with the school district or local community to purchase an engraved brick featuring their own personal memories that will be incorporated into the upcoming Raider Memory Walk.
“This memorial project began with the love and support of the Benjamin Logan community in memory of #20 Robbie Smith and #8 Wyatt Smith,” district officials said of two brothers and Benjamin Logan High School students who passed away in a car crash November 2019.
“As a community, we will fill this memory walk with engraved bricks to honor former Raiders and those that have served the Benjamin Logan Schools and community.”
Bricks will be laid into the Memory Walk area of the stadium to be enjoyed this spring.
Individuals can have bricks engraved with names, awards, clubs, organizations, victories, championships, loved ones, families and more. Order forms are available on the district’s website, www.benlogan.k12.oh.us.
The order forms can be returned via mail or sent in with a student to the school office.
Benjamin Logan officials said the first brick orders will be placed by Monday, Dec.14, and related that the engraved bricks could be purchased as a Christmas gift to honor a loved one.
