Current members explained the qualities of Scholarship, Character, Leadership and Service that a student must exemplify to be considered for the society. Then they announced each new potential NHS member by reading their resume of activities and accomplishments so far. Beyond having a 3.5 grade point average, Indian Lake students must be involved in music, sports, service clubs or other activities to be considered, plus complete an application and essay. Teachers, other instructors and club advisors make the final selections. The ILHS NHS Club meets the first Wednesday of every month. (INDIAN LAKE SCHOOLS PHOTO)
