“This is about the turnout I expected,” local project manager Jason Dagger said after a landowner and an interested but supportive local resident left the office. “The ones that want to know will be here but most of the people that turn out at the hearing won’t.”
The open house sessions — the second of which is from 2 to 7 p.m. Monday — are being conducted in advance of a 4 p.m. Tuesday public meeting being hosted by the Logan County Commissioners, who have been asked to consider a payment in lieu of taxes agreement that would allow the company to build 18 wind turbines in northern Logan County.
The commissioners on Thursday also released guidelines for the public meeting, which will take place at the Holland Theatre, 127 E. Columbus Ave. The doors will open at 3:30 p.m. and the meeting will start at 4 p.m.
