Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department are investigating reports of multiple gunshots fired at a Heritage Court apartment around 5:25 a.m. today.
Two male suspects dressed in dark clothing were observed running from the area of 816 Heritage Court after a reported five shots were fired most likely from a small caliber handgun.
A window to Apartment 5 was shot three times and there were two shots that hit the brick exterior to the right of the window.
Bullets were recovered from inside the residence which is occupied by Calvin Board and Leanna Lattimer and three young children, none of whom was injured.
