The Chieftains fall to 5-9 overall and 5-8 in the league. The Pioneers, who are ranked 16th in the latest Division II state poll, are now 14-3, 9-3.
Bellefontaine plated the first run on the game in the bottom of the fourth for a 1-0 lead.
However, the Pioneers took advantage of some Chieftain miscues in the top of the fifth for a four-run burst.
The visitors added two runs in the sixth inning and three more runs in the seventh inning.
