Philip E. McNeal, 54, of New Hampshire, OH, passed away due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on July 24, 2022.
Philip was born on September 5, 1967, in Lima, OH, a son of Kenneth Eugene and Sandra Currence McNeal, who survive in Belle Center, OH. Philip married Monica Hoffman on June 8, 2002, and she preceded him in death on December 28, 2021.
Philip is survived by three children, Brittany Knox of Waynesfield, OH, Michael (Danielle) Knox, and Chance (Briauna) Knox, both of Urbana, OH, two grandchildren, Lucille Sexton and Matthew Knox, a sister, Julie (Duane) Parker of Roundhead, OH, a brother, Kenneth (Stephanie) McNeal of Lakeview, OH, and several nieces and nephews.
Philip was a 1986 graduate of Upper Scioto Valley School. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked as a welder in Lima UAW Local 2075 for General Dynamics in Lima, OH. Philip was a member of Indian Lake Iron Brothers LEMC, where he was known as “Frenchie” and served as Security of Arms. Philip enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, and as a master fabricator, building things. His greatest joy came from his family and playing with his grandchildren.
