Garnet A. Roebuck, 74, of Belle Center, was transported by Bellefontaine EMS to Mary Rutan Hospital for a leg injury sustained in a parking lot incident Friday afternoon at Wal-Mart Supercenter, 2281 S. Main St.
Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department report she was pushing a shopping cart in the parking lot when a car operated by Jennifer A. Seeling, 45, of Bellefontaine, struck the shopping cart. The impact pushed the shopping cart into Mrs. Roebuck’s leg.
Ms. Seeling was cited for failure to control. No damage was reported to the vehicle.
• Sabrina Lloyd, 17, of Bellefontaine, was cited for failure to yield following a non-injury crash about 5:10 p.m. Monday.
Officers report she was attempting to make a left turn onto east Sandusky Avenue from the parking lot of Walgreens, 101 E. Sandusky Ave., when her car struck an eastbound car operated by Rachelle V. Davidson, 43, of DeGraff. Damage was light to both cars.
Man charged with resisting arrest
Edward S. Langley Jr., 29, of 709 W. Sandusky Ave., Bellefontaine, was charged with resisting arrest following a traffic stop about 4:15 p.m. Monday on State Route 47 at County Road 32.
Officers report the defendant had a Champaign County warrant for failure to appear. During the traffic stop, he at first refused to exit his vehicle, and then required two officers to gain control of him and place him in the cruiser.
