Patsy A. Ball, 82, of Bellefontaine, passed away Thursday morning, Nov. 3, 2016, at Mt. Carmel Hospital East, Columbus.
She was born in Bellefontaine on March 4, 1934, to the late Clarence F. and Iscah Marie Hamden Davis.
She married Joseph Paul “Jody” Ament on June 6, 1952, in Fairbanks, Alaska. They later divorced and she married Fred Edward Ball on May 22, 1965, in Bellefontaine, and they both preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Wayne, George, Gerald, Jim, Ralph, Walter, Fred and Dan.
Patsy worked for 10 years at Westinghouse and then another 15 years at Siemens before retiring in 1999.
She was a member of the Church of the Brethren for more than 50 years. Patsy was an avid reader. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards. She loved music, singing and being with all her family.
Survivors include her daughters, Paula (Earl) Grody of Euless, Texas, Georgia Buckenroth of West Liberty and Dana Golding of Bellefontaine; eight grandchildren, Paul (Ashley) Grody, Angela (Jack) Jones, John (Tammy) Buckenroth, Joshua Buckenroth, Joseph Buckenroth, Robert (Chelsea) Buckenroth, Ashley Pooler and Andrew Moon; 14 great-grandchildren; a sister, Betty Ganson of Bellefontaine; and many nieces and nephews.
Calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center where Pastor Mike Roberts officiates the funeral servicebeginning at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8. Burial is in Highland Memorial Cemetery.
