Myrna Anne Stanley, 97, of West Liberty, passed away Saturday, Nov. 5, 2016, at Lifecare Hospice in Wooster.
She was born in Champaign County on Jan. 19, 1919, to the late Marshall L. and Frieda Kauffman Miller. On July 20, 1941, she married H. Marvin Stanley and he preceded her in death on Feb. 24, 2009, along with a granddaughter, Tammy Cassidy; sisters, Joy Finkenbine, Fonta Belle Hurley and Genevieve Hughes; brothers, Jerome Miller, John Miller, Marshall Miller Jr. and Sollie Miller.
Myrna is survived by a daughter, Darlene (Brady) Cassidy of Wooster; a son, Norman (Carol) Stanley of West Liberty; a brother, Charles A. (Peg) Miller of Bellefontaine; grandchildren Tina (Dean) Helton, Shannon (Scott) Maier, Andrea (Gary) Keener, Devon (Tracie) Stanley, Beverly (Roger) Stark and Brenda Simpson; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and foster daughters, Pat Eubanks and Jeri (Jim) Segura, and their five children.
Myrna was a member of the Union Chapel Community Church and was employed at Siemens for more than 30 years. She was always willing to serve others and most of all her family.
Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 101 Zanesfield Road, West Liberty. Pastors Jeremy Sarver and Mike Sandlin officiate a funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, at the funeral home. Burial is at Fairview Cemetery, West Liberty.
