Seth T. Adams, 36, of Newport, and Deanne J. Taylor, 36, of 1145 County Road 111, Bellefontaine, each were charged with domestic violence related to an incident Monday evening at the A&E Campground, 3299 State Route 540, Bellefontaine.
Taylor reportedly sustained a laceration approximately 4 inches long to her left forearm that required transport to Mary Rutan Hospital for stitches prior to her transport to the Logan County Jail, deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office said.
Adams also was placed under arrest lodged in the jail.
About 9:50 p.m., deputies responded.to the campground on a domestic violence report involving a knife.
They met with Adams, who reported Taylor had gotten upset during an argument and cut herself with a steak knife. Deputies observed that Adams’ shirt was torn and there was blood by the tear in his shirt. He also showed deputies a mark on his back where Taylor reportedly had bitten him.
Deputies also met with Taylor, who said during the argument, Adams threatened her with the knife and she held up her arm to defend herself.
Deputies took photos inside the trailer, where they observed blood on the bathroom floor and toilet seat. The knife also was recovered.
