Despite sunny skies and warm temperatures this week, snowplows were a topic of discussion at the Tuesday evening Riverside Board of Education meeting related to a unique art project completed at the end of last school year.
Elementary art teacher Abby Steinke presented information about her students’ receipt of a semifinalist award this summer in the Ohio Department of Transportation District 7’s Paint the Plow project, in which pupils were charged with painting a design on the face of a snowplow blade.
