Three Benjamin Logan FFA members Chase Miller, Peyton Henry and Colton Musser of Benjamin Logan FFA recently earned fourth place in the Disrict 6 Outdoor Power CDE at Tri Rivers in Marion. The Outdoor Power CDE its a hands-on event where students perform various shop skills. In the contest, students had to complete a fuels and oil exercise, identify engine tools and parts, perform an dial caliper practicum, measure and find specifications for valve clearances, find engine specifications in manuals, and complete small engine troubleshooting station. “The competition was not only fun, but a great experience for all of us,” Henry said.
