Denise L. South, 76, of Dayton, was cited for an improper turn after a two-vehicle crash around 6:40 a.m. Tuesday at Main Street and Gunntown Road.
Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department report she was southbound in a non-turn lane at the intersection and turned left. Her van struck a car operated by Angela D. Ream, 46, of Springfield, who drove from the southbound left-turn only lane to go eastbound on Gunntown.
Damage was light to the vehicles.
• Officers are investigating a Wednesday hit-skip crash in which a blue station wagon with a dark rear window hit a mailbox at 844 Reservoir Road around 3:05 p.m.
Resident Susan Gilbert told officers she watched as the vehicle knocked the mailbox from its stand and was driven from from the scene.
• Michelina M. McCardle, 19, of Milford Center, was cited for failure to control after her eastbound car hit a parked car around 7:40 p.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of west High Avenue.
She told officers she maneuvered toward the right to avoid an oncoming vehicle. Her car hit Traiye J. Smith’s legally parked car.
Damage was light to the McCardle car and heavy to the Smith car.
Trailer reported stolen
Gilbert C. Myers, 313 Linden St., reported Friday a trailer was stolen from a property he owns at 412 W. Sandusky Ave. He provided a name of a suspect. The trailer’s Ohio license plate number is SQV 8081, according to police reports.
Residents report damaging
Cynthia Outram, 604 Charles Ave., reported Wednesday that someone removed a TV antenna from an outside wall of her residence between 3:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. that day. She found the antenna laying on the ground.
• James Trout, of 329 E. Sandusky Ave., Apt. B, reported Wednesday he found the paint on his pickup truck peeling after someone sprayed it with an undetermined substance.
Summons served
Charles L. Rasnick Jr., 42, of 684 State Route 292, Zanesfield, was served Wednesday with a summons for failure to appear.
