Senior standout Jenna Ober reached a career milestone with Triad’s girls basketball team Monday by surpassing the 1,000-point mark for her career.
Ober tallied 19 points in Triad’s 57-37 loss to host Greeneview in an Ohio Heritage Conference regular season finale.
She is the sixth Cardinal to break the 1,000-point mark and is now fifth all time in scoring with 1,014 points and can add to that total with tournament play this weekend.
“I’m really proud of Jenna,” said Triad head coach Jason Malone. “She’s our team captain and has provided valuable leadership through a pretty challenging season.
“She has handled the adversity and struggles really well and has been a consistent force for our team. She has been a pleasure to coach over the past four seasons.”
