Kaylee J. Thompson, 20, of Huntsville, was cited for failure to yield following a crash Tuesday afternoon on Township Road 100 at State Route 117 and State Route 366.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report she was operating a westbound pickup on T.R. 100 at 3:40 p.m. when she stopped at the stop sign and then drove into the intersection. Her vehicle was struck by a southbound minivan operated by Tiffany J. Tassin, 34, of Little Rock, Ark.
The minivan then went off the road and struck a traffic sign and a utility pedestal box. Damage was heavy to both vehicles.
Huntsville and BMRT squads responded to the scene and checked both drivers and two passengers in the minivan. No injuries were reported, and the occupants were wearing their seat belts.
• Nancy K. Barr, 77, of East Liberty, was cited for improper backing following a non-injury crash Tuesday afternoon in Belle Center.
Deputies report she was backing her car from a parking stall along Main Street near Elizabeth Street and struck a parked car operated by Kodie A. Davey, 24, of Marysville. Damage was light to both vehicles, and the drivers were wearing their seat belts.
• Marvin W. Edwards, 50, of Belle Center, was cited for failure to control following a non-injury crash Tuesday morning on County Road 13.
He reportedly was operating an eastbound box truck at 8:30 a.m. near Township Road 46 when he drove off the left side of the road and struck a fence, causing light damage to the truck. Mr. Edwards was wearing his seat belt.
Burglary reported in Lakeview
Ellen Oakley reported to deputies Tuesday afternoon that several items had been taken from her residence at 15871 State Route 720, Lakeview.
She said a small handgun, a small amount of cash and two saws were missing. She did not have any possible suspects.
