Nicole Rae Vagedes, 45, of Quincy, passed away unexpectedly at 8:50 p.m. on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at her home. She was born on September 6, 1976, in Lima, Ohio, a daughter of Audrey Christine (Nevers) Moody and the late John Arthur Vagedes. In addition to her father, Nicole was preceded in death by her brother, Scott Moody.
Nicole is survived by her mother and step-father, Audrey & Steve Moody; four children, Leesha (Robert) Herring, Michael Taitt, Joshua Ritzma, and Justin Ritzma; five grandchildren, Rosella Herring, Raelyn Herring, Risoul Herring, Remilee Herring, and Brantley Taitt; five siblings, Kristel, Stacy (Rick), Steven (Jamaica), Chris (Gwen), and Adam (Paige); step-grandmother, Joan Moody; numerous cousins, and best friends, Hollie Pope and Andrea Lane.
A 1993 graduate of Indian Lake High School, Nicole had a great career at Honda for over five years. She loved to cook and watch her kids play sports, never missing an event. Nicole was a proud mother who absolutely adored her family. She was the best encourager to her family and friends, putting everyone else’s needs before her own. Nicole was loved by many…and loved a lot!
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at a later date.
