MARYSVILLE — The new Marysville Kroger Marketplace, 1501 W. Fifth St., opens at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, with celebrations throughout the day and evening.
Archie Graiffin, two-time Heisman Trophy winner and former Ohio State University running back, signs authographs from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6. An earlier item contained an incorrect date for his appearance.
The 126,000 square-foot store replaces the 52,000 square-foot store which opened in 1982.
The store includes apparel, household items, small kitchen appliances, a Starbucks, a cheese shop, liquor agency and a bistro, where a mural by Matthew Adams will be installed to pay homge to Marysville’s history and strong agricultural ties.
Additionally, the store will offer ClickList, the company’s online grocery ordering and curbside pickup service, and The Little Clinic, a medical clinic staffed by nurse practitioners.
