New drug possession charges were filed against a city man when officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department responded to 320 Richard Ave. at 6 p.m. Tuesday to assist officers of the Adult Parole Authority.
APA officers were at the location where Blaze B. Kiser, 31, of 6089 County Road 26, and Amber N. Barker, 29, of 105 N. Koke St., DeGraff, were inside a camper on the property.
The two were found inside, along with two syringes Mr. Kiser said were used for injecting heroin and a foil ball containing marijuana.
Mr. Kiser was charged with the new marijuana possession of possession of drug paraphernalia charges. Both he and Ms. Barker were also taken to the Logan County Jail on the APA probation violation charges.
• Xavier S. Gordon, 22, of 728 1/2 S. Main St., was arrested Thursday on three Florida warrants including one for domestic violence.
He was a passenger in a car operated by William T. Neace, 20, of Bellefontaine, who was stopped around 12:20 a.m. and cited for running a red light at Main Street and Lake Avenue.
Mr. Gordon was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
• Jeffrey A. Caudill, 35, of 11076 Tecumsah Path, Lakeview, was picked up Thursday on a Shelby County warrant for failure to appear as part of a 2:20 a.m. traffic stop in the 2200 block of south Main Street.
Man cited for driving under suspension
Brian J. Tarleton, 34, of 421 N. Detroit St., was issued a summons for driving under suspension after a traffic stop at 8:38 p.m. Sunday in the 300 block of West Street.
He was stopped for not having working tail lights.
During a search, Mr. Tarleton turned over a small amount of marijuana that was confiscated, but he was not given a citation for possession.
