Bellefontaine Joint Recreation District is offering a nature education program at the Myeerah Nature Preserve one Saturday morning per month throughout 2017.
The programs are available to any students in kindergarten through fifth-grade and cost $5 per child per session.
Each session is scheduled from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on a Saturday with topics including identifying trees, April 29; fish, May 13; rocks, June 3; butterflies, July 29; wetlands, Aug. 19; monarch butterflies, Sept. 30; an autumn nature hike, Oct. 21; and a wrap-up event, Nov. 18.
