Officials of the Logan County Health District are promoting National Public Health Week for Monday, April 2, through Friday, April 6, with displays and information in the lobby of the 310 S. Main St. office, along with a DVD about public health’s role in the community.
Themes for each day during the week include the following:
Monday — Behavioral Health, advocate for and promote well-being.
Tuesday — Communicable Diseases, learn about ways to prevent disease transmission.
Wednesday — Ensuring the Right to Health, advocate for everyone’s right to a healthy life.
Thursday — Injury and Violence Prevention, learn about the effects of injury and violence on health.
Friday — Environmental Health, help to protect and maintain a healthy planet.
