The sixth-annual Nashville Hitmakers performance headlined by Logan County’s Even Stevens is at 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, at Indian Lake High School.

The evening features award-winning songwriters performing their biggest hits.
Joining Songwriters Hall of Famer Stevens, who penned such classics as I Love a Rainy Night and When You’re in Love With a Beautiful Woman, are guitar great Mike Loudermilk, Midnight in the Desert; Spady Brannon, Real Love; Chuck Cannon, How Do You Like Me Now?; Shawn Camp, 2 Pina Coladas; Lari White, That’s My Baby, Now You Know; Kylie Sackley, It’s Just That Way; and Lauren Mascitti, Ohio winner of the 2009 Colgate Country Showdown.
The event serves as a fundraiser for the Indian Lake Watershed Project and the music departments of Indian Lake Schools.
Stevens is a graduate of Indian Lake High School and 13 of his songs have been awarded the rare BMI Millionaire or Multi-Millionaire status. Volkswagen featured Drivin’ My Life Away in a TV commercial for its Golf Alltrack and I Love a Rainy Night was used recently in a Yoplait Yogurt advertisement.
