Nancy L. Parmer, 70, of Bellefontaine, passed away at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 19, 2016, at her home.
She was born in Kenton on July 4, 1946, to the late Donald and Betty Conover Kissling. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa Parmer; a granddaughter, Britoni Curtis; a grandson, Daniel Dearwester; and two brothers, Ralph and Donnie Kissling.
On Nov. 4, 1962, she married Russell Parmer in Bellefontaine, and he survives, along with two daughters, Tammy Anderson and Kim Parmer; three sons, Russ Parmer, Larry (Nikki) Parmer, and Scott (Tess) Parmer; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Pam Kissling and Linda (Richard) Halterman; a brother, Robert (Brenda) Kissling; a sister-in-law, Sharon Kissling; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Nancy had worked as a waitress at Don’s Hamburger Shop for 15 years. She was a huge Elvis Presley fan and enjoyed playing bingo.
A funeral service begins at 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 321 N. Main St.,Bellefontaine, where calling is two hours prior to the service. Burial is at a later date in Huntsville Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in Nancy’s memory to a charity of the donor’s choice.
