The National Alliance on Mental Illness of Logan and Champaign Counties offers a free 12-week education program for family, friends and significant others of adults living with mental illness, with sessions beginning from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, at Consolidated Care, 1521 N. Detroit St., West Liberty.
The course is designed to help family members understand and support their loved ones living with mental illness while maintaining their own well-being. Information will be presented regarding illness such as schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder, major depression and more.
