Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office and troopers of the Marysville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to several crashes Friday on the first day of the season that snow accumulated on Logan County roads.
Sheriff’s deputies had completed two crash reports Friday night but said none of the crashes involved injuries.
At about 2:50 p.m., Stephen Abbott, 25, of Bellefontaine, was turning right from County Road 130 onto County Road 57 when his vehicle slid into another vehicle driven by Danielle Slayter, 35, of Bellefontaine, who was stopped at the stop sign.
Mr. Abbott was cited for failure to control.
• Kaylie Heath, 17, of Bellefontaine, was also cited for failure to control after sliding into the side of a vehicle driven by Marcia Lament, 66, of Belle Center, who was stopped at a stop sign. Kaylie was northbound on County Road 5 at 3:12 p.m., attempting to turn right onto County Road 26 when the collision occurred.
Damage was moderate in both crashes.
