Lisa K. Taylor, 30, of Richwood, was charged Monday with possession of heroin, possession of drug abuse instruments, illegal use of drug paraphernalia and possession of a dangerous drug.
Around 1:35 a.m., she was observed driving on Main Street near Maple Avenue. Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department were aware she was driving under suspension and initiated a traffic stop near Lake Avenue.
A search of the sport utility vehicle turned up numerous hypodermic needle and several prescription pills. More needles were found in her purse along with small plastic baggies containing heroin residue and powder.
She was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
